SC Bastia 1981-82 Retro Shirt

Basking in the afterglow of winning a first-ever major honour the previous season, Bastia’s Coupe de France success qualified them for the 1981-82 Cup Winners Cup campaign.

Unfortunately the holders Dinamo Tbilisi proved too strong for Antoine Redin’s Bastia players in the next round and the Corsicans exited following a 4-2 aggregate defeat.

The efforts to retain the Coupe de France were ended at the semi-final stage by Saint-Etienne, the same team that Bastia had defeated in the 1981 Final.
